Chardonnay is a green-skinned grape used in the production of white white. The variety originated in the Burgundy wine region of eastern France, but is now grown wherever wine is produced, from England to New Zealand. The Chardonnay grape itself is very neutral and is vinified in many different styles, from the lean, crisply mineral wines of Chablis, France, to New World Wines with oak, and tropical fruit flavors. The flavors become more citrus, peach, and melon, while in very warm locations, more fig and tropical fruit notes such as banana and mango come out.
This kit produces 22.5L (30 bottles equivalent) of stunning Chardonnay (5 gallon of white wine) at around 11% ABV.
This kit is a 7-day wine kit, and the wine will be ready after 7 days, however, we recommend leaving the wine for longer before drinking it so the flavours of the wine can deepen and mature.
The only additional ingredients you will require for this kit are sugar (4kg) and water.
You will need the basic winemaking equipment to make this kit which can be found in the 'Starter Kits' section of our website.
