Sauvignon blanc is a popular choice of wine from the Definitive range. The Sauvignon Blanc grape originates from Bordeaux in France and translates to "wild white". This wine is a refreshingly crisp, dry wine with grassy and tropical aromas. This kit will make 1 gallon (4.5 litres) - about 6 bottles - of white wine.
The can has an easy to open ring pull opening and contains the Sauvignon Blanc flavoured concentrated grape juice. Under the lid it includes sachets of yeast compound, stabiliser and wine finings.
To make this kit you will need to add 450g of sugar at the start as well as water.
The strength of the wine will be approximately around the 11% ABV mark. To make the wine stronger add less water to increase the concentrate of the brew.
Although it takes around 3-4 weeks to finish, we highly recommend leaving this wine for as long as possible for further maturation and to release its more complex flavours and to deepen them further.
You will need the basic winemaking equipment to make this kit which can be found in the ‘Starter Kits’ section of our website.
